I rendered this beef tallow today; after double straining it into jars, will it be shelf stable to store in my pantry for up to a year or should it be stored in the refrigerator? Should it be pressure canned or anything to ensure it’s shelf life? Nearly every website I see says it’s shelf stable after rendering it but I can’t find any official document to verify that.
