White flies. Fairly easy to control (neem oil, hard water spray, insecticidal soap), but much tougher to eliminate. Ladybugs and green lacewings do help keep them down.

just wanted to say congratulations on your electron microscope in the garden.

Plant marigolds, Alyssum, yarrow, cosmos and the ladybirds and lacewings will move in! I have a couple of grow bags which I stack with these flowers, and move them around the garden near plants which need some beneficial pest action.
