Small half pep/sausage. This has been on the top of my list to try and was not disappointed. Quite the drive for me but glad I made the trip. Couldn’t even finish half of it. Sausage is killer. Everything else was great. Happened to drive by Burt’s Place on the way out, will def return to try that as well.

I actually prefer pequods to Burt’s. It was better when it was Burt, but the guys that took it over just don’t have the touch, imho.
I’ve never tried Burt’s, but Pequod’s was the first Chicago deep dish pizza that seemed like pizza to me, instead of some kind of weird gimmick.

Pequod’s was so damn good. I’m still not sure it’s pizza, but it’s a hell of an Italian casserole!
