Shah’s $3.25 platter remains a great deal. One of the last remaining spots with fair pricing in a brick and mortar near a subway.

Chicken looks bricked. How was the taste?

Assuming this is in sunny side.

don’t mind paying extra for decent quality stuff

I get that it’s $3.25 but that looks awful.

that is mechanically separated meat brother

This is a speedrun to colon cancer

Yeah not a flattering picture. Especially since there’s no white sauce Their cart on Liberty Ave slaps though.

Not the prettiest, but I’m not too proud to smash that.

Boss White sus hot sus?? No white sus???????

  7. I mean, can’t beat that for the price. Obviously it’s going to taste a bit like meat paste. But add some white sauce and seriously you can’t even get a hot dog for that price most days anymore.

Don’t ask where Mayor Adams’ dead rats go.

by “fair pricing” you mean… too inexpensive for them to barely hang on to their livelihood?

good on ya though, mate. exploit em!

$3.25 sounds fair for this mutton and rice

  11. Which shah’s is that? The shah’s I go to costs $9 for a lamb platter.

Questionable rice, old lettuce, chunks of dead rat, and a couple of fries. Can’t beat it for $3.25.

That looks like a chopped patty. Some of these places have these lamb patties and they chop em up, they taste pretty good, not too different from the stuff in the gyro meat cones they have at most places.

I would be scared to eat anything for $3.25. I mean is it rat meat?

  15. This may be kind of annoying, but maybe this isn’t actually “fair pricing” and is actually ONLY a great deal… almost nothing can be done this cheaply and plenty of things far more expensive than this are fairly priced but maybe don’t make you think it’s a great deal? Maybe I’m getting into the semantics but I guess that I’m saying there should be three categories: great deal, fair priced, and overpriced, and the fact that something like this isn’t going for $3 doesn’t mean it’s unfairly priced
