Le Pré Catelan in Paris. My first time dining here. Overall, I had a good time, but I guess we had a couple more bottles than initially thought so it ended up being quite $$$$. A few additional reflections of my experience:
1. Manor is located in the Bois de Boulogne. During the day, I heard it’s quite nice, but at night…let’s just say the surrounding area is a little creepy lol 2. Food here is more classical and focused on the ingredients themselves. There were some dishes where I wished they showed more creativity, but they seem to be more focused about “quiet perfection” and harmony. 3. My favorite dishes were definitely langoutine and squab. Both were fantastic fishes, especially the squab. I would go back to have that dish. 4. From start to finish, it look ~4 hours if I remember correctly.

One of the best meal in Paris. Where is taken the 6th photo?

Their lunch menu is still outstanding value for a 3*, €220 for five courses and three pairing wines. I loved the setting personally, quite romantic (though I wouldn’t walk back through that green area at night).
