Hi all! Has anyone tried or have info on canning berry syrup (recipe is tested recipe from USDA) in the Weck deli jars (757 – 100 ml jar)? I’m looking to do a batch and the shape looks like it would be good for syrup. Does anyone have experience with this type or other Weck deli jars?

Thanks.

The image lists the size as 700ml while your description lists 100ml. Is that a typo? It makes a difference in the processing time and whether there is one for a jar this size because the recipe you referred to only has times for half pints (approx 236.5ml) and pints (approx 473.1ml). You can always use a processing time for a larger size but you can’t use a smaller size time or guess at a time for a larger size.

I use these and similar ones for syrup and for juice. I like them. The company has declared bankruptcy due to the energy crisis in Germany. So if you want new glasses you might want to hurry.
