This is the first time I tried canning Great Northern beans (or any light beans) from dried beans. Soaked overnight, rinsed, brought to a boil before putting in jars, then pressure canned for an hour and 15 minutes. When I took them out I noticed the grey residue inside jars. Is this normal/safe? I’ve never seen it in anything else I’ve canned.
