Some interesting things about this book to keep in mind. This is a Great Depression era book so there may be some interesting ingredient choices. Also some of the ingredients used don’t exist anymore but can probably be subbed for modern equivalents.
Also the reason why they changed the name to Boyardee was because people were having a hard time pronouncing Boiardi. So they just spelled it phonetically.

    Among many other things, he worked at the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia and did their catering for President Woodrow Wilson’s wedding.
