  4. What’s with this trend of putting butter on a steak?

    Any (minimal) flavor gained by finishing with butter is completely lost by sacrificing the crust. It doesn’t add flavor, it removes it.

    Maybe let it rest to room temperature before? It still looks fucking delicious, so I’d give it a 7.5/10.

    I prefer medium rare though so is medium is your jam then good on you. I would eat it, for the record lol

    Reverse sear next time. Haters gonna hate but I’d smash it. Lol. I’ve made worse. A few times I fell asleep waiting for a low and slow a d ended up with well done 🤣

    Cooked at too high of a temperature, unappetizing grey band with uniform pink center. Tasty but you can do better.

    6/10 because there is almost as much grey band as there is pink. Would still smash tho.
