A few experiments for dinner.
The chicken – I salted it and gave it a short marinade (while I was prepping) of harissa spice blend, garlic powder, cayenne, ginger, olive oil, honey, and a bit of water to keep the texture right. This went in the air fryer for about 8 minutes at 425.

The green beans were quickly steamed in the microwave and sautéed with some garlic, chili flakes, and tomatoes for the last couple of minutes. And finished it with a lemon salt.

And today was the first time I have made millet. I cooked it in chicken broth. And then opened a can of chickpeas. Added green onions and carrot tops (leftover from my friend’s garden. Sumac. Aleppo. Lemon juice. Lemon zest. Olive oil. And some salt. This sat while I prepped the rest. When the millet was done, I folded it in with the chickpeas.

And I gave the plate a light drizzle of yuzu olive oil. Turned out yummy.
