How do I calibrate this jam thermometer, or am I missing something?
I’m new to this so forgive me, but how do I calibrate this jam thermometer to zero?

A look at the other side might help, but not all thermometers can be calibrated by the end user.
Just to double check though, are you expecting it to read 0? From what I see it appears to be showing a reasonable room temperature which is what you would expect when it’s not in use and just showing the ambient temperature.

These are usually calibrated by measuring in boiling water. You’d need to know boiling temperature at your specific altitude (212 °F / 100 °C at sea level and down from there). There’s usually a nut on the back side. Turning the nut moves the needle.
