Was hoping this article would actually have some critiques and commentary about the list, but it’s basically just stats about the list

I’m not really into a 100 restaurants chosen by one person

The list has a lot of repeats from last year, which is fine for some and a little surprising for others. Tatiana ranked number 1 is a surprise.

No steakhouses on the list is a disappointment.

There are some good places though – Gramercy Tavern, Le Coucou, Ci Siamo (although be nice to also see L’Artusi instead of Via Carota and Torrisi), Rezdora, I Sodi, Daniel.

No Minetta Tavern, Au Cheval, Monkey Bar. Frenchette is on the list but is similar to Buvette and Balthazar and could easily be interchanged with them in my opinion.

On the cheap end there is S&P and Hamburger America, interesting.

I would remove Barney Greengrass and Le Rock.

Everyone is going to have different opinions but a list like this makes for great conversation.

Also, gives people new to NYC or visitors a good list of suggestions.

Overall, people are going to narrow it down and create their own list, ignoring some of this list and adding on their own favorite places that didn’t make the list.

  4. I’m borderline mad people have caught on to Superiority Burger

My takeaway is that people are whiney af. I just saw new places I should eat at.
