Atmosphere – Louis is a small 9 table restaurant that has a very cozy feeling and was not cramped. The open kitchen sits in the back of the restaurant that has the chefs doing their thing quietly. I like the noise and commotion of the kitchen but they kept their space quiet and focused on the food.

Service – There was a lead server and an assistant server taking care of all of the tables and were very pleasant and accommodating to my American self. We never had an issue with communication and enjoyed chatting with the two of them. The service was smooth and not rushed, replaced water, bread and wine speedily. Good overall service.

Food – The food was great. There was a uniqueness of flavors from each of the dishes that made you think about the ingredients. Each dish complimented the others without clashing and the way they flowed through the service was well thought out.

Overall – A really nice experience. Good food and a good time! At one point during the dinner service, I was just enjoying the show of the kitchen as I usually do and Chef Stéphane Pitré walked out of the kitchen and came to our table to have a chat about how the evening and everything was for us.

9 course tasting menu for 2, 2 cocktails, 4 glasses of wine and cheese addition. $368.92usd

Whatever that “en croute” item is it looks……underwhelming.
