If I am being honest 90% of my dinners are experiments.

I got some preserved lemons harissa. And I recently saw a harissa orange chicken recipe that had honey. Since it was new I didn’t know how it turn out, so I just mixed in some honey, harissa, a little bit of plain yogurt, and a few chile flakes. That sat in the fridge for around 6 hours.

I made roasted cauliflower and sweet potatoes. I had roasted carrots and lentils to finish up.

I took some of the yogurt to make a quick sauce of preserved lemon, onion powder, Aleppo chilies, olive oil and salt.

I ended up finding the harissa not spicy enough so I added some cayenne at the table. The honey harissa combo gave it bbq chicken vibes. 😋
