Ol lady got some turkey meat and wanted burgers. Ewww. I had to make em good enough to go in my belly so I added brown sugar bacon, egg, fried cheese, and a grilled brioche bun.

Looks 👍!. Chuck in some red/green peppers and red onions next time (in the meat mix), really helps the flavour

To me the taste the same as beef burgers.

That sounds tastey. Pre-made turkey burgers are ass imo, if you make them at home they’re usually great. I like to put some garlic, onions and peppers throughout the patties and I use a tiny bit of breadcrumb, an egg and ketchup kind of like a meatloaf mix. Salt and pepper to taste when cooking and that’s about it

I also hate turkey…unless you hunt it yourself because you need to eat. It’s gross.

Try using a recipe for pljeskavica or other (minced) kabob meat, and you won’t notice the turkey so much. 🤗

Maybe turkey burgers hate you. Have you ever thought of that?
Of course not. All you think about is yourself.

Turkey burgers are so salty

One of the best burgers I ever had was a turkey burger with feta mixed in and smothered in a creamy bacon jam. From a food truck in Santa Cruz. Sadly it’s closed now.

Why not add some Turkey bacon to it and go for the double abomination?
Lol.
I actually like both but thought the mention of Turkey bacon would get some people’s panties in a twist.

Smashed turkey burgers with some slap yo mama seasoning and some sliced cheddar is a good substitute if you can’t eat red meat like me.

They’re actually great as a Caesar salad burger. Toast the bun with butter. Add Caesar, parmesano reggiano, sliced Roma tomatoes and arugula.

I mix the ground turkey with jurk marinade/paste. Adds a ton of flavor and they don’t taste so dry.

I hate them too because there is usually rosemary extract in the ground turkey I can find.

They’re not the worst thing I’ve ever eaten, but they definitely aren’t great either
