    it’s miso, it’s meant to preserve for a long time. If it’s in the fridge I’d wager it would never go “bad” per se within a reasonable time frame (like 5-10 years), taste might gradually change at some point though, do a taste test yourself and find out.

    That said if you’ve been contaminating it with other stuff, all bets are off.
