I thiiiink the series is done now, but Michelin on the Road was pairing Michelin chefs with local restaurants in various cities to create a fusion menu. For the one in Seattle, it was the local restaurant Lark (Chef John Sundstorm), paired with Chef Curtis Stone from LA’s Maude and Gwen (both one star). I know they had one stop in Nashville, unsure where the other stops were?

My favorite part of the day wasn’t even just the meal, we started it with foraging on Tiger Mountain with both chefs and a local guide (I forget his name 😭), including for some of the herbs used in our dinner!

Price: 300 pp which included the meal with wine pairing and the foraging experience (plus the swag I guess) , and I think tax and gratuity

Meal itself was delicious, some of the best of both chefs’ restaurants!

Both chefs were incredibly personable and spent lots of time talking with everyone too, which was great! Especially Curtis Stone, I’ll be for sure checking out at one of his restaurants when I’m in LA next!

Foraging must have been fun . I have never gone Foraging but it sounds like a fun activity provided you know what you are doing , also were the chefs explaining the ingredients?
