I got this when I was over in Spain. I couldn’t figure out how to find out if it’s really good quality or not.

That’s a good question. Commenting to learn the answer. 😆

  2. I have previously heard that a quality olive oil will have a harvest date on the bottle.

But I might be confusing that with coffee and roast dates. Haha

But I like to read reviews online and see which olive oils are the most well reviewed. Ethan Chlebowski has a couple good olive oil videos on his YouTube channel.

Check to see where it was made, then if it’s blended from multiple sources.

Lastly, put it in the fridge, if it doesn’t solidify it’s blended with cheap or bad oil.

Fresh olive oil will often have a burning sensation on the back of your throat while you’re drinking it. High polyphenol content.

Similar to another comment. Pure olive oil with solidify in the refrigerator while blended oils have a lower solidification temperature so they will remain a liquid. Most olive oils are blended. The one that I have found with a relatively good price and high quality is terra delyssa. You can track how long it took your olive oil to go from olive grove to shelf and it also solidifies.

Best way is to open it up and taste it

Nope. Good love oil has a specific colour. It looks like olive green liquid gold.
