Carl’s Jr.’s California Classic Double Cheeseburger

This is supposed to be their homage to In-N-Out’s double double. Interesting because the grilled onions are a default topping on this burger while that’s more of a custom order at INO. That’s fine with me because I always get a double double with grilled onions. But does it taste like a double double? Not even close. Not enough grilled onions and not enough toast on those buns. But it’s still a tasty burger that I like to get every now and then when I’m not in the mood for a Western bacon cheeseburger. Also, the waffle fries here are much better than chick-fil-a waffle fries
