I used to work in a bakery but haven’t done any serious baking from home other than the odd batch of brownies/ pies etc, and man! It’s hard! I offered to make a baby shower cake for my sis this weekend and found myself running to the store last minute, I kept running out of counter space, freezer space etc. Mad respect to all of you guys who bake from home as a living.

I’m not a pro, but I did a big bake (bread) for a fundraiser and the club offered to let me use their commercial kitchen. Oh my god. Infinite freezer and refrigerator space, more countertops than I know what to do with, enough oven space to bake ten loaves at a time.
Thanks for this, it makes me feel better! It takes me days to make my kids theme cakes since I can only work in bits and pieces. The whole time I’m always thinking, it’s so inefficient to just make one cake, haha.
