  3. It’s not a Bolognese, you’ve left out 1 3rd of the soffrito, and just beef? Wheres the veal, the pork and pancetta? Where’s the white wine and the milk? Why oregano? Bolognese is cooked for a minimum of 4 hours, you don’t slow cook dry herbs for a meat sauce,

    talking of which, I can tell it hasn’t been slow cooked because its not a meat sauce in the picture, looks like little clumps of fried mince meat with some tomato sauce chucked in, going off the colour and texture, it looks like a 5 minute job, terrible
    So look first and foremost, learn what a Soffrito is, then maybe start with a basic Ragu, Bolognese can come later when you learn the basics, and secondly, don’t just dump a ladle of sauce on top of some poor drying out spaghetti, the pasta is taken straight from the salted boiling water and into the sauce where it is tossed through thoroughly
