Your cake looks fantastic for your first fancy cake!!
One of my fave tips for next time: take some strips of waxed paper and put them juuust under the edges of your cake on each side to cover the edges of your cake platter before you frost. Then ice your cake, and slowly pull out the waxed paper. Then you have a clean cake plate again!!
