I love fruit ice creams and due to recommendation by u/Hallelujah289 I got the Haagen Dazs raspberry sorbet. I thought it would be fair to compare this sorbet to another berry flavor from Island Way Sorbet from Costco. Both sorbet has a very nice texture and mouth feel. My spoon easily goes in for both and the texture has a great mouth feel for both. It’s thick enough that I can bite down and it’s not icy. I like that the Island Way Sorbet comes in individual packaging that makes it so convenient. The cons is that while it does taste good it’s very artificial in flavor as well. That just turns me off as I’ve never tasted this flavor naturally.
The Haagen Dazs was exactly what I have been wanting in a sorbet. It’s thick and not icy at all. It tastes like fresh berries that I blend myself. It’s sweet and just the freshness and strength of berry flavor is strong. It’s refreshing and doesn’t have any artificial after taste. I would get this again. I rate this 10/10 one of the top flavors for sure for sorbet. I want to try the mango next.

Omg thanks for the shout out! I’m glad you liked Haagen Dazs Raspberry sorbet. I thought it was very pleasant and did not expect to like it as much as I did.
I have some very short reviews of other Haagen Dazs flavors I’ve tried over the years [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/icecream/s/ng7B6CYlFV) as I found out my grocery store app tracks them. I tried these before finding this subreddit so I don’t remember a lot of details. But I remember enjoying this raspberry sorbet!
I loved the Haagen Dazs Cream Mango ice cream as well. They also have a mango sorbet that I’ve heard good things about. I haven’t tried it but really enjoyed the ice cream version! Haagen Dazs generally does natural flavors well and for me the mango is one of them.
I also recommend their strawberry. You can also try their Summer Berry Cake Pop as it’s like a tasty fruit cake pop flavor such as Starbucks sells. I think it might be strawberry and raspberry swirl with something else and cake pieces. I haven’t had it in a long time but remember I enjoyed it.
If you like fruit ice cream i definitely recommend Frutero brand which you can buy at Whole Foods. I’ve tried their passion fruit and their guava and maybe something else. I liked both! The passion fruit tastes authentic, not artificial, but probably might not be as strong tasting as a sorbet because of the cream. It is however very dense and enjoyable! I would say moderately tart, not as forward as passion fruit off the tree.
I haven’t really tried many sorbet otherwise. I also generally recommend Helados Mexico for their fruit ice cream bars. Walmart, Dollar Tree, etc. Coconut is my fave!
