I’m keeping it within a calorie deficit about 4 burgers a day racks up the 1800 calories I’m eating at right now. Yesterday I had some shrimp and then chicken sandwiches instead of beef.

As long as you’re switching up the meats, it’s really just the bread that’s an issue.

  2. Fragrant-Hamster-325

You’re in r/burgers, it’s perfectly fine to eat burgers everyday.

They might say otherwise in a r/health

  3. DirectCustard9182

Well, its either that or the alcohol making me feel like shit. Still trying to determine. Lol

Does the tin man have a sheet metal cock?

If it’s wrong I don’t wanna be right

nah not really unless you have a specific health condition. disclaimer i’m not a doctor but did a lot of nutrition research etc when i was powerlifting and now do weightcutting for mma and as long as you’re not overdoing sauces/cheese, its generally fine. the bread is fine. you have protein, carbs, fats (albeit not the best fats), and micronutrients for the most part. again i’m not a doctor just an autistic dude that loves his research

edit: in the long term (as in if you eat a burger EVERYDAY) i’d worry about: type of fat intake + sodium + you might get scurvy

Burgers are bad for you is a myth.
Well except for maby the ones drowning in fat.

  8. Jesus_is_edging_soon

Depends if you want to have a long life or not

  9. A question not easily answered. Age, physical activity, blood work during the annual physical. The amount of fat… I don’t think it’s bad. Personally, I need to switch things up. Maybe one for breakfast on Monday, dinner Tuesday, and so on.

  10. colliejuiceman

In theory, it checks all the nutrition boxes when done properly haha veggies/carbs/protein/dairy

  11. pissjug1000

Depends on if you have great term life insurance or not.

  12. RetroGamer87

It’s not bad if you eat burgers for breakfast, lunch and tea

  13. Bald-and-bougie

You can always eat chicken/turkey burgers, mushroom burgers, black bean burgers, to mix it up.

  14. I mean, if you’re going for a happy and delicious life then go for it. If you want to be heart attack free then you might want to reconsider.

  15. HarrisLam

    define bad.

PS : yo what’s with that lump on the burger patty on the left

  16. Silver_tongue_devil_

Fuck it. Is life worth living if you can’t do at least one unhealthy thing for your mental health?

  17. Western_Maybe_2159

Let’s see what the food guid pyramid says. Bread good, meat good, cheese good, lettuce good, tomato good, onion good.

    Cheese burger…. bad?

Burgers are in the same boat as pizza, tacos, burritos and pasta. They can be bad or good depending on ingredients.

A leaner meat with real cheese on a whole wheat/grain bun and being generous with the vegetables topped with a sauce made from brown mustard and nonfat Greek yogurt is way different than a sodium loaded transfat smuggling big Mac with 4000 ingredients you can’t pronounce.

No, not if you eat 80:20 grass fed all natural patty, a real slice of solid cheese, and put some good vegetable toppings , and the very most important thing: real natural bread buns without enriched flour. Yes it’s a solid meal. Extremely healthy if you add avocado.

  19. PinkyGurl2002

I wouldn’t worry about it unless you’re over 40 then you have to worry about cholesterol, saturated fat and all that other bad shit. I’m 21 and eat burgers all the time and I totally love them🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔

  20. ZestycloseRaisin9864

    too much meat

    have you considered vegan

  21. leaf_fan_69

You have green stuff, dairy meat, grains.

Add a dill pickle and it’s healthy AF

  22. RobinTHEfactoryLover

hell yes I love this burger 10/10 would eat everyday

  23. Ok-Society-4026

I mean if the burgers are “healthy” then it shouldn’t be a problem. You should also change up how each burger is with its ingredients so it doesn’t start feeling stale over time. Those look good!

  24. -Radioman-

Probably should have some veggies in addition to the lettuce. Remember fiber is natures broom. Otherwise it’s all good.

  25. Red meat is not healthy but not nearly as bad as processed meats like bacon and sausage. Everyone responds differently to environmental effects. Just try to be healthy in other ways (e.g., getting plenty of sleep, exercising, stress reduction, veggies, vitamins and mineral supplements) if you want to eat a lot of cheeseburgers.

Also, avoid cooking the patties to the point where you’re developing a crust, because that part is highly carcinogenic.

Get your colonoscopies on time if not early as well, and get your bloodwork done frequently.

  26. TrubledBootySnatcher

Got your meat, dairy, bread, and veggies. I’d say it is.
