Should I go throw up? Is it a worm?

So I am a butcherer, seen these quite a few times. It is a vein yes, but usually when the veins are that big, they connect to a tumor. So I’d still not eat the meat, because it is a good sign that the animal had cancer. Not that it is dangerous, but cancer leads to other types of sickness in the animal which could be dangerous.

Damn. I’m sitting here eating a steak quesadilla and scroll to see this. Something that looked like this is what caused my mother to quit eating meat for many years.

That my friend is the elusive Gristle Mouse.

  4. probably an artery, tendon, or some other connective tissue. it’s not likely a worm would keep its volume that plump after being cooked in a steak

That’s a cotyledon. It means a new steak is on its way.

I just want t say it looks like a mouse tail.

Could be a tendon or something else. I would not want to eat it for sure.
