hey what’s happening guys today we’re taking the cheesiness of this channel up a couple of notches anyways I mean things are usually pretty cheesy on here but today I will be showing you how to make Quito mozzarella sticks and let me tell you guys these mozzarella sticks they are incredible they are so easy to make they’re perfectly seasoned and breaded and they just have all that wheat gooey cheesy deliciousness that you’d want from your mozzarella stick plus each one of these cheese sticks has less than one net carb and they just make an amazing keto snack idea you can keep me your freezer they hold up in the freezer extremely well and anytime you want mozzarella sticks you got mozzarella sticks pets up let’s get right into the recipe and I’ll show you how to make some low-carb keto cheese sticks ok the first thing we’re going to do is get our low-carb breading together for our mozzarella sticks so as you’re seeing here I’m gonna add 75 grams of pork rinds to a medium-sized Bowl by the way this is going to be about 3/4 of a cup of crushed pork rinds and crushing the pork rinds is actually the next step so we’re going to add them to a gallon sized plastic bag and then we’re going to crush them with our hands real quick but we’re really gonna do some damage on these and really let out some frustration and stress by using a rolling pin so once we’ve really crushed those pork rinds up into teeny tiny pieces we’re going to add them back to the medium-sized bowl that they came from and then we’re gonna add the rest of our keto mozzarella stick breading ingredients to that bowl as you’re seeing here want to add just less than a cup or 75 grams of grated Parmesan cheese along with about three tablespoons or 21 grams of blanched almond flour we’ll also want to add a heaping 1/2 tablespoon of Italian seasoning a heaping 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder a nice pinch of salt and a tiny bit of crushed black pepper so now we’re gonna give our keto cheese stick breading a good mix and once it’s well combined like this we’re gonna set it aside at this point we’re all set to get our egg wash together for our mozzarella sticks so all we’re gonna do is add three large eggs to a small dish beat those until the yolks combine into the whites and then we can set that dish aside now the last thing we’re gonna prep is the cheese and you’ll want to use some part skim mozzarella sticks like these to make today’s keynote cheese stick recipe that said we’re gonna use six sticks of that cheese and we’ll want to cut those sticks in half to make 12 smaller sticks then when we’ve done that we can start breading our Quito mozzarella sticks so as you’re seeing here to do this you want to dip those cheese sticks first into the egg wash then into the breading and then you want to repeat doing this two more times triple coating the cheese sticks like this is the secret to this mozzarella stick recipe and it will ensure that the mozzarella sticks end up with the perfect amount of breading anyways after we’ve breaded our Quito mozzarella sticks we’re gonna add them to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze them for at least an hour then once an hour goes by we can preheat our oven to 400 degrees and cook them for around 10 minutes or until the cheese just starts to pop out of them like this that said I think the best Quito mozzarella sticks are made in an airfryer so to make them this way when you get the cheese sticks out of the freezer you’ll want to coat both sides generously with baking spray and you’ll also want to do the same thing with the basket in your airfryer as well once we’ve taken care of that we can add our Quito mozzarella sticks to the basket and when we’ve got all 12 of our cheese sticks in there we’re going to set our airfryer to 380 degrees and cook the mozzarella sticks for about 5 to 6 minutes then once they’re done we’re gonna serve them hot and enjoy all of the crazy cheesy deliciousness these things possess and that is how to make Quito mozzarella sticks as always for more info on today’s recipe check out the video description below and I hope you enjoy the sticks

  1. The only thing missing was what kind of deal you had to make with the devil to get the coating to stick.

  2. I made them! My non keto husband said they were good. I’m going to make another batch tomorrow to keep in the freezer for lite snacks. I used an air fryer and I used Rao’s Marinara sauce.

  3. Looking at everyone’s comments I tried experimenting by placing one coat of breading, rolling in my palms than I placed it in the freezer for about 15 mins. I removed them & did another egg wash & coating. Worked perfect! I didn’t need a 3rd coating. They turned out crispy & tasted great ! My 7 year old didn’t know the difference.

  4. Mozzarella sticks are one of those foods I really miss.

I'll bet this breading would be great for jalapenos poppers!

I've been making jalapeno chaffles. 1c shredded cheddar, 1oz softened cream cheese, 1 egg, 1/2-1Tbsp chopped jalapeno. Mix and wafflize. I added onions, green peppers, bacon crumbles, and topped with sour cream to make non-potato skins.

  5. This looks like the best keto mozzarella sticks recipe I've seen on Youtube so far! I'm going to have to try these. Thanks!😃

  6. These look great!!
Quick question tho, am I able to make these without the almond flour? Will just the pork rinds and parmesan suffice for breading?

  7. This isn’t good for a diet, you’ll probably end up eating 5 or even more and that will get you to over 600 calories

  8. This looks delicious! I don’t have any cheese sticks, but I do have some laughing cow cheese and Panko crumbs. I’ll have to give it a try! Thanks for sharing!!

  9. Just made these – delish! Used the Costco Pork Rind Panko, added some cayenne and put in the air fryer.

  10. Why do so many keto recipes have a spry oil. Those are so bad. Did a new kind come out that doesn't have engine gass in them?

  11. I'm so grateful for you. Simple, easy, and /yummy/. There are a ton of channels for more complicated recipes that might be more delicious, and worthwhile once and a while but momma wants mozzerella sticks on the daily. Thanks!

  12. I just made these and they were fantastic. After reading over some of the reviews, I decided to double coat them, freeze for 15 minutes, add a third coat, and put back in the freezer while the oil heats up. I also made sure to press the dry breading down with the palm of my hand after every coating. I’ve tried several recipes and had problems with the cheese leaking out, batter falling off, or ending up soggy, I had non of these problems. These were hands down the best cheese stick for us low carbers. The recipe is a keeper for sure. Thanks so much for sharing.

  13. What’s the different between carbs and net carbs? I know u mentioned 1 Net carb.. so am I looking at 1 net carb per cheese stick or 1.75? I’m confused lol thank you! My son is type 1 Diabetes..and he’s been craving mozzarella cheese stick

  14. based on the comments, there’s quite a bit of us that can’t get the breading to stick. Op or anyone got tips? 🙏

  15. i buy pork king crumbs, so much easier and you can make different flavors, ranch, italian and cajun . ive tried them all,.. hint hint put the cheese sticks in the freezer before you bread them… yes triple bread for best taste

  16. This did not work for me. Each time I did the 2nd or 3rd dump into the egg wash the panko crumbs came off. Couldn't get them coated.

  17. The crunchy coating and melted cheese inside were a match made in heaven. This recipe is a keeper and will be my go-to for gatherings.

  18. The way your putting intervals between each word is driving me fuck loose .. like bro just say the sentence. Wtf.
