To get out of the rain, we stepped into a circa ‘60s izakaya for “one quick beer and a snack” 😂we ended up ordering onigiri and oni-yaki (both came with Kyshu’s famous takana); mixed tempura which included in-season kisu; karaage (so good I forgot to take a photo); and ginchanyaki, a really popular Osaka speciality runny omelette over raw shredded cabbage. 🤰😉😊
