It’s basically green tea over Japanese steamed rice. It is comfort food in my house. Flavors can range from pickled plum, salmon, shiso or other flavor as you choose, I usually use the instant packets that have dehydrated ingredients in it. The one you have here might involve brewing the green tea and pouring over the rice. Either way not to complicated. I float Japanese rice crackers in mine in addition to the crunchies that will accompany yours in the packet. It’s a very enjoyable product and quite comforting.

ちりめん山椒 says “Chirimen-sanshou” . It’s an ochazuke flavored with sanshou pepper (Sichuan pepper) and chirimenjako (small dried white bait).
