Yeah we burnt the pastry on accident, our cream didn’t come out the way we thought it would.. what can we do differently next time? For the custard we used 4 egg yolks, 2 cups of milk, 1/2 cup sugar, 4 tbs corn starch, 1 tsp vanilla extract & we baked a premade pastry dough & added strawberries and blueberries to the custard cream

It was amazinnnng. I’ll make sure I make the pastry instead of my husband next time so we don’t burn it 😂
I’ll be honest, yours looks more appealing to just because that picture makes it look so homey and welcoming
