According to my farm, this beef is both grass fed and corn fed with own produced corn. Any way I can tell if it’s true?
If important, the beef is as tender as chicken basically ( if not more )

You could post up and spy on them to see what they’re feeding those cows.

How does it taste?

Own produced corn??? LOL it is still sprayed with round up which is straight fuckin poison… what’s the point to this question?

Most cows eat grass and grain, grass fed cows eat exclusively grass.

If you zoom in really really close on the meat….
^(you still have no FN clue how that cow made its own corn)
Generally, grass makes fat more yellow and soft. Grain makes fat white and solid with more omega fatty acids. Like most things in life, it’s best to have a balance of various inputs.

The cattle were probably raised on grass and finished with corn or something like that

It is extremely common to label beef as grassfed if they are given access to pasture along with their grain. Wrong, against USDA guidelines, and possibly illegal, but very common. A local up here is marketing “Grassfed Wagyu”.
Farms can, and do, raise beef without any grain whatsoever, but that is far more rare.

Stick your head up the cows ass!

Essentially ALL beef is grass fed. Most cows are fattened on corn or other grain for a few weeks or months before slaughter. For beef that’s eaten only grass you want to look for grass fed and finished beef. Since you bought this from a local farmer and he said it’s grass fed and corn fed with his own corn, well that sounds pretty plausible and the beef looks lean enough I’d guess it was not fed very much corn.

Look for the corn in your shits, same as after the bbq. You should be able to see them than!

I currently run over 6k acres I rotate between corn and soybeans…. and there is 0 profit in traditional farming weeds over run your crop bugs etc….. without modified seed the yield is much less and not profitable. I will say without a doubt this modified shit with all the sprays are killing the land and people and it is regulated and enforced by the GOV. GOD BLESS .

Eat them! If there really tender its probably all true. Grass feed to make them grow. Corn to fatten them up

I’m not sure how to verify it but that sounds reasonable?

Grass fed, grain finished.
