I still make my own birthday cake! This year’s cake is brown butter almond caramel, mostly from Milk Bar recipes: -barely brown butter cake
-brown butter cream cheese frosting
-salted caramel sauce (from Trader Joe’s)
-almond crunch (modified from Milk Bar’s hazelnut crunch recipe)
It turned so good but so beige 😂

My wife was 29 for the 32nd time this month.
We celebrated my bf’s dad’s birthday this past weekend. His mom put a question mark candle on the cake.
I didn’t even know they made those.

I’m always a year behind. And not to try and seem younger lol. Im always like oh I’m 32/33/34. And then when I have to do the math for some reason I’m always shocked I somehow haven’t kept up with my own age and I’m a year behind. You know you’re old when you literally can’t get your age right and it kind of stops mattering.
I always reply with “Old enough.”
