Is cookout a truck or restaurant or chain or neighbors backyard grill?

Hell yea, I love Cookout. I got some 2 nights ago at 2am. I think cheddar style big doubles are my favorite, but I get the “out west” and “nacho chili” styles a lot, too. I got a bacon wrap and corn dog in my last tray. You can get anything you crave there as a side. Amazing 40 shake flavors, too.

What’s best to order? Going in a few weeks

My order is big double burger with cheddar and bacon. Two sides are fries and corndog. Reese’s Cup shake

Tray w/ big double burger, cookout style (chili, mustard, slaw, and onion). Side corndog and cajun fries. Reese’s shake. Extra side white cheddar cheese bites.

Pro tip #1: their quesadillas are also really good
Pro tip #2: better off getting the side cup of chili and dipping your fries than getting chili fries as they got soggy incredibly quick (unless you like them that way)

Fuck yeah I love cookout. My local one isn’t as good as it used to be but damn it’s still pretty good

Fell in love with cookout, from the Midwest we don’t have those here but everything from N.C is better than anything from nw ohio

So many in GA. Good stuff, especially for the money.

Going to North Carolina next month and will be going to cookout Atleast twice. I always go when i visit NC, it’s a staple

  11. How much was that tray?

Pound for pound Cookout is a great value

  12. Cookout – where else can you get a quesadilla with 2 sides of quesadillas? Love me some Cookout and one was supposed to open here but hasn’t materialized for some reason(s)? <shrugs>

Good thing we visit Greenville pretty often.

I love cookout. Big double burger tray – out west style; add slice cheese – side of ranch chicken wrap and bacon wrap – coke float for drink. All for like $8-9. I love the cheese bites too but they hardly give you any as a side on the tray.

Where I’m from (NC) a double burger w/2 sides and a drink is only $7.99 before tax

We have them around here and I’ve never been. Looks good but the fries look sleepy

A Cookout Tray used to be 5 bucks and change. Take me back

Tried it in Mississippi. Was surprisingly good for the price. Lots of options. The banana fudge shake was bonb!

Ah the memories. I used to survive on this during college. Could get a tray for <$6 that was easily 1800 calories. Big double cheddar style ftmfw

I didn’t have a problem with their food, but if you’re new to the place, the menu can be a daunting task to navigate. Like I just wanted a burger meal, not a game of 400 questions.

“Would you like lettuce on the burger?”

    “Sure”

“Would you like the lettuce deep fried”

    “Sure”

“Would you like your lettuce deep fried in a cajun batter?”

“I don’t want the lettuce now if this is going to keep going…..”

absolute hit or miss, but you hit!

(i’ve been to three diff ones in 3 diff states…wildly different)

my first was in Durham NC and it was amazing!

Anyone saying Cookout is good… I hope your tastebuds find actual food one day.

I wouldn’t wish cookout on any small town.

Although it isn’t on the menu any longer, you can still order a HUGE burger. That’s two regular patties that are bigger than what’s on the Big Double. You can’t get it with the tray, but I’m fine with just a burger. One week until the watermelon shake season(July/August)!!
