If frozen properly meat should be safe indefinitely, which is to say it shouldn’t give you food poisoning. That doesn’t mean it will taste good indefinitely. I’d try it, not much to lose.

I recently smoked 2 freeze packed Tritips from Chico State’s Meat Lab from 2017 and 2019 and they were both still amazing. They were kept frozen from there to my freezer and had zero signs of freezer burn.

Season it well and go to town. I’ve had nastier looking deep freeze beef before and it tasted fine with salt, pepper, garlic etc. Just be aware any frozen meat won’t taste as good as a fresh cut
