I have randomly found Bar Parisette online and learned about their opening night. I usually avoid trying restaurants as soon as they open since it can often be a rocky start, but the menu looked promising. Anyway, I went yesterday and I would go back again tonight. Probably the best bistrot style food I had in Chicago.

The food was good all around, but the poulet roti is great. The service impeccable and the price surprisingly reasonable for the type of food and wine. Maybe I would not order the tartare again, as it was a little more mustardy than I usually like.

If I could change one thing about the place it would be to add a bread service, their brioche bread is good but the sauce of the chicken would have been amazing with some baguette.

All around a very solid restaurant and I would have not known it was their opening night if I did not randomly found out.
