Ingredients:
1lb Italian sausage (substitute with your favorite sausage)
1 32oz jar Rao’s marinara sauce
8-12oz your favorite pasta
¼ Large sweet onion (diced)
2 Garlic cloves (minced)
1 Cup half and half
1/8 Cup Parmesan cheese
1 Bunch Basil

Directions:
If your sausage has a casing, remove the casing . Add it to a med-high pan and let it sear on one side for about 2 min. After searing, crumble sausage and finish cooking. Add the onion and garlic to the pan and cook until the onion is translucent.

For best results, remove the sausage, onion and garlic from the pan and add it to a slow cooker on Low. Let it rest in the slow cooker for 4-8 hours. If you are short on time, skip the slow cooker and move to the next step.

Add pasta to boiling water and cook per instructions. Drain once done.

In a pan on medium heat, add the sausage, onion, and garlic mixture. Add half and half and Parmesan cheese. Stir to combine and let it come to a simmer. Reduce to low heat.

Add the drained pasta to the pan and stir to combine.

Julienne some Basil and sprinkle on the top with some extra Parmesan cheese then serve.
