Don’t let that thick looking crust fool you, it was surprisingly light, crisp, and tender. Definitely went well above my expectations. One of my favorite pies in NY now.

Really loved this spot. And great soft serve too!

My friend has been asking me to go here and I’ve been apprehensive but this looks surprisingly good.

I personally thought pies were mid. But the meatball sliders were f’in BOMB

Absolutely my favorite pizza in nyc, so happy you went

Glad it was good but WD 50 stiffed my friends company (a vendor) out of $10’s of thousands and I will never eat at a Dufresne spot again

Did your body stretch after eating it like luffy’s from one piece?

Did you have any drinks? The cocktails looked appropriately interesting for Dufresne spot.

The crust to cheese and sauce ratio is criminal. Looks like it tastes good though I just don’t wanna get filled up on dry dough.

  9. I tried all the unusual pizzas over several visits but the plain remains the most amazing. First time at a pizza joint where I wanted to eat the crust first instead of leaving it as bones.

  10. I thought this was actually one of the worst pies in nyc

Looking forward to trying this at some point. I’ve only been in the city for almost a decade so arrived past WD50 annd anlder and the awards he earned. Only eaten his food via Dus Donuts and his dad’s Byggyz which only lasted a year or so. Interested to see if he finally finds something more stable

That is too much exposed crust. I hate when sauce / cheese / toppings aren’t spread further out. If I wanted to pay for bread, I’d go do that.

It’s really very good. I liked the “Parisian Gnocchi” as well.

One of the better pizzas in the area, especially if you value a good crust.
