First time posting and first time using the Ninja Woodfire to smoke/grill. Thoughts?

    Is that how dirty the inside of the lid gets after one use? Not implying anything negative. Just curious as a potential buy. Steak looks great. My kind of temp inside. How did it taste compared to a steak on a traditional grill?

    Do you put it on grill hi and let the smoke ignite? A few weeks ago I used the smoke setting for a prime NY strip and got it to 130 internal took it out to rest. Pat dry and then turned on the grill (no pellets) to high and seared it and thought it came too done. I have young kids so I usually don’t do anything less done than medium, but this was closer to medium well.

    I’m thinking next time to just use the grill hi setting and let the pellets run. Maybe sous vide before if it’s a thick cut
