1 600g beef chuck, cut into 2-inch cubes
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
30 ml vegetable oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1 carrot, finely chopped
1 celery stalk, finely chopped
1/2 cup white wine (optional)
400 ml beef broth / water
1 spoon of tomato puree
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
500g peas
