Yes, hornworm. Horrid little tomato-devouring fuckers. Kill it with fire / pluck them off and set out for your feathered friends. You can use a black light to find them at night.

Not unless he’s making it hot, or using a high nitrogen unbalanced fertilizer!

Gross! I just plucked 3 off two of my plants this morning! I was horrified to see what looked like little mouse droppings on some leaves and after looking it up realized it must be hornworms… follow the fecal trail and you will find them! 🤮

no but pretty soon you won’t have a tomato plant to worry about. get rid of those bastards now. they’ll devour them over a weekend.

If your temps are 90 or above, tomatoes won’t produce flowers.

Weather has been really humid and hot here, which often sends plants into a survival mode where they don’t want to use the energy to fruit

The birds and wasps have been putting in some incredible work in my garden the past few weeks. I thought I was in trouble when I first started seeing these guys, but now I see little birds hopping around in the garden and attacking bugs on the tomato plants every day.

Neem oil in a spray bottle. Dilute with water

  9. Cut them in half with pruners on the vine. That’s how I do it.
