this is fou pick your favorite Arabic bread cut it open then chop it into small bite-sized pieces traditionally the bread is deep fried but we’re going to toast it in the air fryer season it with extra virgin olive oil a pinch of salt a pinch of sumak then give it a quick toss and toast it in the oven or in the air fryer until golden brown and crunchy in the meantime make the dressing with extra virgin olive oil beautiful pom Gren molasses freshly squeezed lime juice grated garlic salt and sumak now if you don’t have sumak it’s okay you can leave it out close it and shake it set it aside then to a large mixing bowl add chopped Roman lettuce diced tomatoes diced cucumber diced green bell pepper finally chopped fresh parsley and fresh mint thinly sliced radishes and green onions drizzle the dressing on top of the salad then toss it until the veggies are completely coated in the sauce top the salad with your crunchy Arabic bread easy right

  1. Loved the crunch at the beginning Nico! Definitely a tasty and relatively easy Salad to make, but no sumac here, and the Pomegranate Molasses as well, I'mwondering if we can sub with Sweet Agave syrup? Thanks for sharing and yeah, arabic bread can be Pita bread? Healthier like you did with the air fryer, but being deep fried, I'm thinking with a minimal amount of cooking oil, frying it like we do chopped tortillas(for chilaquiles). Thank you for sharing good buddy, Liked and greetings for your beautiful Louise and you. 😀

  2. Hi Nico and Louise! I make your vegetable curry and arrabiata recipies almost every week. Thank you for teaching us how to cook with more veggies! 🙂

  3. I love that I randomly have that sumac spice because my husband bought last year with zero ideas of the taste 🤦🏾‍♀️😅

  4. Fatoush without the sumac is analogous to marinara sauce without the tomatoes. The sumac and the bread cubes and the vegetables are what make it what it is. If you don't have the sumac, then go out and get it. It makes a world of difference.

  5. Amaizing dish
And we also do on side of that.. somtimes
A dish with lentils and burgul (whole wheat grain) with oil ( from fried onions ) it s superrr yummy

  6. In the United States we have sumac trees that produce a "berry" that can be used to make a sumac spice. There is winged/shining, smooth, staghorn, and fragrant sumac.

  7. We don't use this bread for Fattoush in Syria . 😅
This is really not how we make our Fattoush .
