Given the browning and the size of those bubbles, that egg was cooked *way* too hot… I will accept that there are a variety of tastes and preferences with regard to burgers. But on the subject of eggs, there can be no a-debate!

Nope, rather have bacon.
Chuyin84

If I’m gonna bother to have an egg its got to be runny.
mindingmynet
Nah. It’s not terrible, but imo, eggs and burgers are two diff directions.

Not up until last summer! Went camping with the family and brother in law made burgers for breakfast with a runny egg
taniamorse85
I’m not an egg person in general, but sometimes an over-easy egg on a burger just hits the spot.

Runny egg
Sorry_Error3797
I like to be able to bite the burger therefore that one is already shit.
Toucan_Lips
I enjoy it on occasion, but they have to be perfectly cooked. Yolk needs to be a tiny bit runny and the whites need to be tender.
The egg in this burger is a little overdone for my taste

Unpopular take here but yes I love an egg on a burger but it must only be set and not runny (a little is fine). The only time I enjoy a runny egg is when it’s eggs Benedict.
scaremanga
I did not until I tried a free one (comp’d meal at work). I hate messy foods, especially the trendy tower burgers. But this? Make it runny, please. It ties the the flavors together really well. It’s like an American eggs benedict.
Two_Dixie_Cups
Love it.

Hot take: this trend never should have taken off like it did. Some dipshit did it on a guy fierri food channel show and then everyone followed suit, despite the fact the mess it makes is hardly worth the flavor it adds to a burger. If you like it, right on! – but personally I just don’t get it lol. I will say it’s not as bad as the “burger between two grilled cheeses” concept, that’s just heinous. at least the egg adds protein and a pleasant visual component
