After a good few repeated outings at both, sometimes within the same night since they’re both close to eachother within walking distance, I gotta say that these both make for one of my favorite dining outings not only in the city but in general.

To start off we got the Omakase by Korami. It’s a 15 course $89 strict sushi serving. Sometimes they give an extra piece at the end. They also have several special add ons that I think were like an extra $15-$20 each that can get more experimental. Anyways each bite to me is generally at least good/great to phenomenal. Anything they cook with that flame is an instant home run for me. My absolute favorite dish from them was a sliced, cubed, and well cooked and charred wagyu put inside a large seaweed rap with rice and wasabi. Oh each bite just melts. From the tuna to the snapper, to the cooked salmon. Delicious. The one place I can even comfortably eat mackerel lol, and they always give it a unique touch.

Otherwise it’s a small establishment, no more then like 10 people per serving each hour, but at least for myself I haven’t felt it’s too tight or small. You’re at the bar and see the food being made and and I think it’s a great way to get you immersed and have a sense of pacing when eating. I think it’s my favorite omakase honestly and has some of the best bites of sushi and in general dinner that I ever ate. From the food to the service, to the ambience. That and it’s the only place that I ever saw serve red and black caviar together in one dish, I thought it was pretty cool.

So next up if you have room in your stomach, you can take a 10 min walk to I think frankly my favorite gelato/ice cream place ever ngl. I would have taken a pic of my own cone but I had no self control. Like you can pick so many different flavors, sauces, and macarons. One other thing I like is that you get a personal screen that showcases all the options that you can carefully select at your own pacing by yourself. When your done it just prints up a slip you can give to the workers to get your dessert. I don’t know or can definitively say that each individual gelato flavor is the best you can ever get, but I always loved my cone and felt incredibly satisfied with both how it tasted and looked. I usually total to around $15 from them with my choco-cone flowered shaped several flavors gelato served with several sauces on top and a macaron. My last had the combination of the gelato flavors hazelnut, orange & cinnamon, raspberry sorbet, and dulce de leche. With the toppings being a raspberry gelato macaron. As well as having the sauce toppings of red berries, pistachio, and dark chocolate.

Oh I always get so happy receiving a cone. So perfectly sculpted each time. I think the workers know themselves they’re bringing joy to the world. They also have so many other things in their menu that I haven’t even tried yet. Like waffle and other pastry dishes to put gelato in, warm stuff, drinks, take home packages. It’s quite something.

So yeah long story short I think I found the perfect or as close to one package deal of what I’d consider my favorite dining package for one night; not even just in the city. That and just individually some of favorite dinner/sushi and dessert/gelato/ice cream experiences. I’d definitely recommend at least to go for one of them at some point. If your in the mood and got the appetite, I’d say doing both in one go is also an excellent outing.
