Cooked (and ate!) my first real meal since morning sickness kicked in!

    I’ve been dealing with tons of food aversions and nausea in the first trimester of my pregnancy and have defaulted to frozen foods and take out wayyyy too much.

    Finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! I am SO excited to get back eating fresh and healthy home cooked meals.

    **Chicken burrito bowl**

    Ingredients:

    * Grilled chicken breast (cut into strips and marinated with lime juice, plain yogurt, EVOO, paprika, garlic powder, S&P)
    * Grilled bell peppers (drizzled with olive oil)
    * Spring greens
    * Greek yogurt
    * Homemade pico de Gallo (cherry tomatoes, chopped jalapeños, lime juice, salt)
    * Quinoa
    * Avocado that I remembered I had after taking this photo

    This was really calling for some crumbled cotija but I’m scared of eating those types of cheeses with all the listeria recalls 😭

    i’m so jealous i’m 11 weeks and my goal was to make a burrito bowl today but the fatigue got me and i ordered chipotle 😭 this is good motivation though, hopefully soon

    Best wishes on the nausea! It’s been 15 years since I was pregnant and I will NEVER forget how awful I felt. Hope you feel better!
