uh and you guys speak French that means like I don’t speak French in French ah okay it’s okay I speak a bit English okay right one of the most important stages in my career was in France and there’s not any chef that would disagree that their base of knowledge reverts back to the French cuisine they they started it right they set the tone and the crepe is a French classic it’s delicious simple extraordinary now your next challenge will test your creativity each team will produce four Crepes breakfast lunch dinner and dessert yes sir okay good let me show you how it’s done JP let’s go V out there speak French with whistle Brites excellent right now simple batter left hand side and then from there over now the idea here I don’t want it too thick becomes spongy oh dang I have never done that before so this will be very interesting now want a really nice Sandy light golden color with the pette knife up vo Chef Ramsey never disappoints I idolize that dude now in the kitchen there’s an array of ingredients that is mindblowing you have 20 minutes to create four stunning cves is that clear yes sir off you go decide who’s doing what I’m going to take lunch I’ll get dinner yes I’m on dessert Sabrina yeah do you want to do dessert or dinner I’d like to do dessert okay I will do dinner Chef Ramsey has designed this challenge to test three important qualities of being a great chef thick pancake I’m like what is going on can’t get that backside Chef Ramsey makes it look easy so you get up there trying to do it you know and it’s just like holy crap it’s not that easy y’all getting anywhere I’m getting ugly ones I can’t get it to go all the way around that thing was not working for me I just couldn’t get it to spread right van holy mackerel I swear I was going to throw that thing [ __ ] that what a disaster okay I won’t be judging this challenge alone yes I’ve got a real French pallet to help me yes Belgian palet well I couldn’t find a French pette so I’ve gone for seventh best Belgium okay let’s go and dome’s off please the pressure is on it’s Do or Die time wow holy [ __ ] Dave what is that I made a cream cheese and mixed berry flavoring why is it full of Gunk around the outside looks like a plate of diarrhea yeah Chef it doesn’t matter how good something tastes but if it looks like diarrhea man I ain’t eating that [ __ ] I asked for a crepe not a plate of crap yes chef no points what a shame for tonight’s dinner service Hell’s Kitchen has been given a French makeover I’ll take the bra beef crepe Val can I get the Frog let’s go two One Seafood crepe one truffle salad yes chef after a quick visit to the doctor to get some stitches Andy returns for the start of dinner service but unfortunately we’re not still doing um the menu’s on the refrigerator he has a little catching up to do I don’t know my station I couldn’t even remember what the menu was fennel puree goes with the crab legs no frog I don’t know what’s going on Dust them sear them off the the Candi lemon couple three pieces of those I don’t know how cand is going to be able to work I’ll work rotos I’ll do all your risoto thank you so I decided I was going to just jump in to help him out bring the risoto up it’s ready coming in very hot very [Music] hot R is [ __ ] delicious very nice Dave has gotten his team off to a fast start with his risoto service please but in the blue kitchen everyone is waiting for Andy crates please yes chef let’s go come on Edy coming cha now what the [ __ ] is that look at the state of that hey get [ __ ] will you come on guys let’s draw the all of a sudden Jared is speaking in French wait so they are really super hot now so you lift them up there as well okay and that comes over there so you’re there now yeah there you go are you [ __ ] an incredible pizza you’ll spin the wheel and whatever country you land on that will be the inspiration behind your showstopping pizza uh Michelle who do you want to take down there’s Gio and Benjamin left uh Benjamin Chef why not Gio uh I just feel like I want to go up against the best and I think Benjamin’s the best one on The Blue Team there you go there’s a straight up right answer right there spin arounds a good one you’re on France happy with that yes sir there you go St now everybody’s paired up except for Gio you get to join one of those pairings and do a second pizza I’ll do French French I chose France because I think Michelle disrespected me if she wanted to go against the best pizza maker she should have picked at least an Italian guy so I’m looking forward to kicking her ass blue team you have two pizzas representing France I’ll only be tasting one decide which pizza is your best um what do you guys want to do his looks better yeah let’s go you want to go Geo’s all right go just looking at it I rather have giovan’s pizza and we’re like oh we got this his name is Giovani you can’t get more Italian than that we’re tied and it’s all down to the battle of the French let’s go they’re coming down at Gio and as a team we pick Gio Pizza over Benjamin we better had this one in the bag Michelle sliced Bri on there with a little bit of blistered Tomatoes crunchy brussels sprouts and toasted pruit dough maybe a little more utilization of the dough there quite a lot of dough exposed here good job thank you Chef right Gio describe please I did a classic on a white pie I took the creeme fresh added some shallots some garlic a little herbs the pons oh dear can you just flip that over for me please yeah Jesus wow see visually every slice was Burns you had no idea his best no I didn’t [ __ ] rookie rookie mistake the flavors are good just you know another great concept but badly badly executed we probably should have picked mine over goo’s right uh gentlemen on the of ingredients [ __ ] oo to create a dish worthy of a fine dining restaurant I’m thinking an old French rustic style somebody’s burning I can smell it [ __ ] burn don’t smell good oh [ __ ] I instantly smell burnt no no no no no no no no no this can’t be happening right now definitely underestimated this [ __ ] pressure cooker a little bit 12 minutes to go I’m completely freaking out man I totally freaked the [ __ ] out what the [ __ ] am I going to do M [ __ ] you’ve got to leave the protein cooking Under Pressure right oh I’m [ __ ] I’m so surprised that John like burned his meat to the bottom of the pressure cooker like I can smell it I can see him in the back you know trying to scrub it out John’s starting to crumble under [Music] pressure I pull the legs out legs aren’t that bad they haven’t picked up the burnt taste yet I’d wipe this thing out and I’m like [ __ ] there’s still burnt [ __ ] on the bottom of this I’m [ __ ] I got to do something cuz if I put the stuff back in here and finish it it’s all going to taste burnt John I’ll get you another one thank God there’s another pressure cooker in the kitchen thank [Music] you oh lovely wow this is a lamb leg I kind of went more traditional like French uh you have rudaba some fingerling potatoes classic rustic dish thish the color is fantastic this is beautiful caramelization let’s hope it tastes as good as it looks I think that uh you would have benefited for more time in the pressure cooker cuz it’s still a little bit tough [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] I knew that too a little too much butter for me okay so you know once I feel it on my lips I know that uh it’s a lifetime on the hips yeah right you know the flavor is definitely there but I do agree that um could have done with a little more time yeah presentation wise looks great um meat’s not cooked enough but a good effort ladies wow 3 three 4 thank you Chef good job thank you I really want to just blow them away but at this moment I’m winning man I’m like all right cool I’ll take that right now I can win this challenge today’s challenge is one of the most sophisticated challenges we’ve ever had in the history of Health kitchen each of you will Design and create a stunning dish using the combination of two Cuisines better known as Fusion Russell please just let me get France I can make something happen if I get France leave the France France Russell you got French and you’re going to fuse it with India France and India nice that’s not a bad base to begin with France love it I’m going to go right up to the French table and pick [ __ ] that I’m familiar with everything else will take care of itself what you got going on Duck F orange I’m going to use duck because it’s so clearly French I’m going to use fogra because it’s so clearly French any um Indian bed oh [ __ ] marmalade this marmalade’s Indian Russell he combined France and India India Russell has the benefit of being trained Prince Cuisine so this should be pretty easy for Mr Fancy Pants I did a take on duckala orange I paired it with fogra on the duck I marinated with a curry powder and then I finished it with a Tamarind syrup how’s that my DY for me Indian spice in here is not enough for me okay Le please the duck is overcooked but I think that missing that that complete Fusion of The Indian in it is the duck overcooked the duck is definitely overcooked yeah yeah absolutely and it is cut too thick I know my dish was the best dish served today so he can kiss my ass I don’t give a [ __ ] about him your next challenge I want you to think about creating a dish tonight that has been inspired by your life and it could be something connected to your childhood or favorite ingredients or even where you’re from but it should have that connection to you remember it’s your last chance to earn a black jacket your 40 minutes start now nice and calm right yes this is what you know yeah guess it is I have no question you’re going to slay this thank you Chef for this dish I am making a play on B borgan A variation of a dish that my mom used to cook when I was a kid my mom couldn’t [ __ ] cook to save her life as soon as I had my first BFF Borg and Yan when I lived in France I was like holy [ __ ] my mom’s been making this my whole life but like a way shittier version going into this last cook it’s an opportunity to put something in front of Chef Ramsey that means so much to you feel like when there’s a good personal story it’s a good guide when you’re cooking so if I’m going to go out I’m going to go out with a bang and he’s going to remember the food that Amber Lancaster made for him ladies let’s begin with Amber step up please thank you I feel confident with what I have put on the plate and I feel like it expresses who I am and it’ll just show Chef Ramsey what I’m capable of but also my level of passion give me the insight to the story of the dish please I did a play on my mother’s pot roast and a play on the first dish I fell in love with when I moved to France and that is buff Boran I’ve got a Yukon mashed potato with a lot of butter and then the Pearl onions as well Chef the steak is like butter and it’s cooked beautifully and that is a beautiful mid rare wow delicious well rounded uh you on a plate I can taste the emotion in every bite thank you Chef it’s decadent what would I change you know the onions a little bit raw chef wow great job I’m feeling very good about the plate that I put up and in my heart I I feel like I deserve this black jacket 150% the Wheels of Fortune Spin next for Paul F with eggplant I’m good with that PL grapefruit and kale ethic cuine French come on yeah I hate the jackpot I think come on that is a jackpot well done Paul let’s go with Natalie’s dish too hot to handle it’s up to Paul’s french inspired filet to regain the culinary throne for The Blue Team Meats cooked perfectly love the idea behind the grapefruit in the Holland days and that is French cuisine on a plate it’s delicious thank you chef and that’s exactly what happens as he unseats Elizabeth P job P Sam and Victoria are next with their takes on French cuisine this is a lobster and Herb de provance risoto with seared scallops scallops are cooked well and they’re they’re well seasoned but that’s not really Roto you know if you’re going to call it risotto it’s got to be risotto now Sam is hoping his fillet paired with a red wine ve sauce impresses flavor is good you’ve cooked the steak like perfectly got to go red red sound well done thank you sir good job [Music] job did anybody understand what I just [Music] said embarassing it was an embarrassing service oh sir talks lock Captain Noah all stop sucking dick for the camera when I was a young Chef I got my training in France and everybody spoke French I had to communicate with other chefs without knowing entirely what they were saying and trust me I got my ass kicked here’s the thing you all speak the same language and last   1. Benjamin worked in French restaurants just like Gordon did, and the chefs would only respond to Oui instead of yes. And it’s stuck with him ever since.

  6. Idk why, but its so cringe hearing Jared says Oui. Yes i know Benjamin from ss7 also does it. But w Jared it sound so force. Like you can actually hear him having to take a second to stop himself from saying yes and say oui instead everytime Gordon say smth to him. That and also he only started doing it after Gordon mentioned his time in French
