Despite an incredibly hot and dry couple of months, my tomatoes are finally coming in in-bulk! I planted Cherokee Purple and Black Akron and I can’t remember which are which, but MAN are they tasty!

Nice! We finally had enough ripe at the same time to make our first sauce of the season today.

I’ve been ‘In The Maters’ for 3 weeks now, and they are getting thick!

Black Krim tend to crack more concentrically and Cherokee purple tend to crack more radially if you are having trouble identifying your plants.

Good stuff! I’m about to eat my first ripe brandywine of the season tomorrow and I’m like an 8 year old who knows mom finally got me lucky charms and I know I have to sleep before I can have breakfast… love that about gardening.
