I recently dined at Kusakabe in San Francisco and had a wonderful experience. I was solo for my birthday and everyone made me feel so welcome. Overall, the food was excellent, probably my favorite omakase in the city so far. Very reasonably priced as well, at $178 before tax and tip during the week.
