Mustard cream sauces work great with steak so this isn’t bad at all. Worst crime I ever committed was cooking steaks to well done, but I was getting paid to do it(chef) so I am still able to sleep at night.

    Edit: You all are hilarious!

I served my mom & aunt “cheap” steaks because they like them well done.

I couldn’t bring myself to waste a great ribeye

I didn’t buy it, but I did see a steak sauce touting itself as ‘vegetarian’ on the label.

    More funny than anything.

I don’t think sauce on steak is ever a crime. I personally love using Truff hot sauce on mine if I’m not trying to be fancy and just eating a steak. Horseradish sauce is also pretty dank.

  5. I actually really enjoy grated wasabi on my steaks; sans soy sauce.

I made a steak sandwich with cheese and mayo and farm kid I went to college with told me he’d get screamed at back home for ruining a good steak like that. I thought it was bomb.

  7. Ranch. I had it for my fries but it got on my steak. Surprisingly tasted good

Dijon mustard is definitely not a crime, it is actually an underrated play tbh.

Dont know if this would be a “crime” but any time i go to eat steak and there’s a mac & cheese side, i order that to eat it at the same time with my steak. like i’ll get some mac & choose on my fork and put a pice of steak on it then eat it together. it’s awesome

The only problem I have with this is that it’s not **French cognac mustard**. Good god, you uncultured swine!

I reverse sear really nice steaks for my wife and I and then I mix horseradish and A1 and dip the fuck outta that shit.

My worst steak crime was destroying 3 absolutely gorgeous t-bones from a small butcher that I love. They cost a small fortune and the next day, the day of the cook, we were day drinking and watching college football. When the time came to start dinner I was in no shape to cook. I don’t remember much but I know I forgot about them twice while cooking, I also forgot about the bacon wrapped asparagus. Everything was charred and overcooked and I ended up having to deal with a mean hangover and grillers remorse. Many lessons learned that day

Boiled ribeye steaks in beef broth for 1-2hrs

Beyond Well done fall apart tender

I will put Outback’s soy-ginger sauce on anything and everything, including every steak I’ve ever eaten there

  15. Where’s the crime here? Mustard on beef is somehow an issue now? I don’t get it.

    This is fine.

    Ketchup would be far worse.

Worked broiler in a steak house for a while, have made a chicken finger sandwhich with 2 6oz tenderloins as the bread, covered in Demi of course.

i dipped waygu in butter blue cheese sauce for every bite. 10/10 would do again.

Dijon used sparingly on steak is actually ok. It’s ketchup that makes me want to murder my customers (I’m a chef)

  20. joeyvesh13

Dijon and Maldon salt is far from a crime. More like a commendation.

  21. kekhouse3002

This doesn’t seem bad at all, I think it’d be pretty tasty.

The only thing worse than A1 steak sauce is cooking a steak that can only be eaten with A1 steak sauce
