    Looks great for a thinner steak. I go right into cast iron at that thickness too. Good crust and medium rare consistency

  2. Honestly for how thin that steak is and your first time on cast iron, i wouldn’t ask for better. That’s a beautiful damn steak.

    Just hope they all turn out that good. Really good looking crust, that’s what makes a good steak for me. Perfectly done med rare imo.
