Bought “new” food mill on eBay and I think it’s defective. I’ve never had a new one before so I don’t know if this one is bent or if all the other ones I have used have been bent. The blade does not scrape against the bottom no matter how much pressure I put on it. The nut is tight. Help!

Some of them have a bigger variance in there than others. It more squishes the pulp over the holes as opposed to scraping it. Seems a little big though. I may return it if it’s an option, I know not all sellers offer returns
Easy is to take it apart and bend it gently to scrape better
Or return it as that’s way out of wack
