Anything really. Fries are, in my opinion, simply a vessel to transport sauce to my face.
I’m talking ketchup, honey mustard, BBQ, Chick-fil-A sauce, sweet and sour, ranch, mayo, aioli, fry sauce, Cane’s sauce, chilli, fresco sauce, guacamole, sour cream, friggen milkshake or frosty. Fries are just sauce transport.

Fry sauce/special sauce.
2 parts mayo to one part ketchup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt to taste.
Now, variations can apply. There was this burger place called Good Times out of Colorado a long time ago that replaced the ketchup with bbq sauce. Some places in Boise will add a bit of horseradish to their fry sauce. Some places play with the mayo to ketchup ratio.
But once you add relish to the fry sauce, it becomes burger sauce.

Fry sauce : 1/3 ketchup. 1/3 mayo. 1/3 mustard. For base then add a dash of Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, pepper, and onion powder. Mix it all and bam! Best sauce ever. If you want a little more zing add a hint of relish (your taste-sweet or dill)
